Tricia A. Shindledecker
Tricia A. Shindledecker was born in Chateauroux, France in 1962. She graduated from the University of California at San Diego (BA, 1985) and St. Louis University (JD, magna cum laude, 1989), where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the St. Louis University Bar Journal (1988-1989). She was also the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards for Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Legal Professions, Constitutional Law and Remedies.
Tricia was admitted to the California Bar in 1989 and is admitted to practice in all California state courts, the US Tax Court, the US Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the US District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
Tricia is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Sonoma County Bar Association, Sonoma County Women in Law, and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is particularly active in the Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys as the Secretary of its Board of Directors and in the Trusts and Estates Section of the Sonoma County Bar Association as the Chair of the Probate Local Rules Committee. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Sonoma State University, where she teaches Trust Administration in the Paralegal Certificate Program.
Tricia’s practice areas include Elder Law, Trust Administration and Estate Planning, including Real Estate, Copyright and Trademarks. She is a certified Elder Law Attorney.
She is the mom of three (mostly) grown children.
